These chairs are often seen in homes today which a modern design. In fact, it created more than half a century ago. Sitting on this chair, the body immediately became relaxed. Body pushed backward due to which sloping back of the chair. Lay hands on the back of your arms. Temporarily, the face was hidden behind which curved headrest. The history of Egg chair named, because its shape which elliptical, as if he were made from egg shell cut in such a way. This was created by an architect who came from Denmark, Arne Jacobsen in 1958. Then, Jacobsen designed this chair for the lobby of SAS Royal hotel in Copenhagen.

Behind its structure is simple, a chair that has an average height of 107 cm and 86 cm wide has a complicated structure. Frame is made from glass fiber reinforcement is coated with polyurethane foam. This chair design influenced by the spirit of modern style which was heavily in those days.
